Welcome everyone -- Let's collaborate! Your inquiries guide us in developing the most relevant materials and services.

Learning Commons Individual Study
Alameda County allows library indoor use at limited capacity. The college will take a cautious approach and is opening the Learning Commons to a maximum occupancy of 50 students. From Monday, November 2nd (Week 5), the Learning Commons hours are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Due to social distancing and limited occupancy, an online reservation system is available through the online catalog.

Seating Reservation Policy:

  • Reservations are accepted one day in advance and for a single day only.
  • Reservations are for 1-hour intervals with a 2-hour maximum stay.
  • Reservations will be for an individual seat at a table, a soft chair, a cubicle, or a computer workstation.
  • Upon entering, present your student ID to confirm your reservation.
  • Reservations are held for 15 minutes. After that time, the unused seat (reservation) becomes available for walk-ins or an individual on the waitlist if occupancy reaches 50.
  • A waitlist is available at the entrance for notification if a seat becomes available.
  • Those students who do not show up for their reservations (five no-shows per quarter) will only be allowed to reserve a seat on a waitlist only basis.
  • Use the following link to Seat Reservation
