Draw It To Know It: Neuroanatomy
DITKI is an interactive online kinesthetic learning tool. Users can draw each neuroanatomical pathway and structure by using an interactive drawing canvas, and study them using tutorials and self-guided exams. In addition to the interactive features, there are reference materials: question banks, illustrated glossaries on multiple body systems, a brain atlas, and the muscle-nerve directory. Illustrated glossaries include: biochemical pathways, cellular anatomy and physiology, developmental biology and pathology, gross anatomic and microscopic structures, immunology/microbiology, pathophysiologic disorders, physical exam findings, and physiologic processes. Users can establish a personal account to save drawings, create custom study plans and track progress. Instructors can establish a custom study plan for students currently enrolled in their course.
