This guide provides important information for student employees

Quick Overview

You may also be asked to open and close the library. This is a relatively simple responsibility which involves turning on lights, opening and unlocking doors in the morning and other ‘startup’ procedures and tasks, and doing the reverse in the evening when the library closes.

The library consists of the following areas. 117 is the number for the entire Learning Commons and Library.

117I is the Print collection. Both Reference and circulating books along with print journals are located in this room.

117K, 117L are Workrooms.

117  N, O, P, Q, R, S, & T  are first come, first serve study rooms. Study rooms S & T are reservation only.

117D is the Circulation Room. Anatomical Models, medical Equipment, and electronic gear are stored there.

117E are locked, rolling shelving units where Rare Literature and Artifacts are stored.
